Panthers secure partnership with Abcoe

The Penrith Panthers National Rugby League (NRL) club has secured a range of sponsorships with Abcoe Distributors.

The food and office supplies wholesaler will take over the rugby league club's sleeve sponsorship for the rest of the season, before moving to sponsor the shorts from 2010. for the entirety of the three-year deal, Abcoe will also serve as the club's membership sponsor, and will give a 10 per cent discount to Panthers fans.

Furthermore, to celebrate the signing of the deal, any customer who spends AU$40 in an Abcoe store this week will receive a free ticket to a Panthers game.

In today's tough economic conditions, this sponsorship is a sign of the belief and confidence the market place has in the Panthers brand," said Panthers chief executive Michael Leary. "Like us, Abcoe are committed to success and are competitive in all aspects of their business. We look forward to partnering them to further growth and success for many years to come."

Abcoe managing director David O’Neill added: "The synergies and similarities between our two businesses are extraordinary.
