Australian-owned OAMPS Insurance Brokers has re-signed as naming rights sponsor with the Melbourne Tigers Basketball Club for the 2009/10 NBL Championship season.
OAMPS first became the naming rights sponsor of the Melbourne Tigers last season.
“The Melbourne Tigers have been a fundamental part of the Australian sporting community for over 25 years and have contributed greatly to the wider community in areas such as health and wellbeing,” said OAMPS head of corporate, Peter Blackmore. “OAMPS is proud to be the official insurance broker for the Tigers and Basketball Australia.”
The OAMPS Insurance Brokers logo will appear on the team’s uniforms as well as their home ground, ‘The Cage’.
“It is a huge coup for the club to have such a loyal company show their support and invest in our club for another season. Hopefully we will be able to repay some of their faith by pushing for a championship this season,” said Tigers head coach Al Westover.
