Nintendo signs agreement with RFU

Nintendo UK has signed a one-year partnership with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) that will see it roll out a series of experiential marketing campaigns in and around Twickenham Stadium.
The agreement takes in The Investec Challenge Series matches (England versus Australia, Argentina and New Zealand), The Nomura Varsity Match, The RBS Six Nations, The Emirates Airline London Sevens and the England versus Barbarians match.
"We hope our partnership with the RFU will add even more excitement to match days at Twickenham," said Ben Taylor, marketing manager for Nintendo UK.
"Working alongside the RFU is a great opportunity for us to target and talk to a family audience, not just through traditional advertising methods but through more experiential, hands on approach through product sampling."
