Newbury extends Hennessey’s Gold Cup deal

UK horse racing venue Newbury has signed a three-year contract with spirits brand Hennessy to cover the Gold Cup in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
This year saw the 50th anniversary of the Gold Cup, with a prize of UK£200,000. It was once again won by 2007 winner, Denman.
"This is the longest running sports partnership of its kind and we are thrilled to continue working with Newbury on one of our, and the UK's, most prestigious and cherished events," said Graham Boyes, managing director of Moët Hennessy UK.
Stephen Higgins, joint managing director of Newbury said: "We are extremely proud of our longstanding relationship with Moet Hennessy, and are thrilled that the relationship will continue to at least 2012."
