America's largest window replacers, Window World Inc., will sponsor two cars in Sunday's Daytona 500, the first and most prestigious round of the Sprint Cup season.
The company will have significant branding on John Andretti's Number 34 car, run by Front Row Motorsports, and Boris Said's No. 26 Latitude 43 Motorsports car. Both cars will feature branding relating to Window World's charity projects.
The deal with Andretti and Front Row Motorsports is a renewal of a partnership that began with the 2009 Daytona 500 while Window World is working with Said for the first time. "The Daytona 500 is an exciting venue for our company," said Todd Whitworth, chief executive officer of Window World. "Having both John Andretti and Boris Said in Window World Cares cars is an incredible opportunity to promote these great organisations to the Nascar community."
Well placed industry sources indicated that the company is spending some US$400,000 across both cars for the race, which will be broadcast live by the Fox network across America on Sunday.
Andretti was 42nd fastest during qualifying for the Daytona 500, dubbed the Great American Race, with Said 48th. However final grid positions will be assigned during the Gatorade Duel races, which take place at the Floridian circuit on Thursday.
