The PGA Tour has announced six new retail licensing partnerships, contributing to an annual total estimated at US$60 million per year.
Antigua, Back 9 USA, Banner Supply and Ben Hogan have signed apparel partnerships, while Tournament Solutions has agreed an accessory deal. Finally, eSoles has become the tour's 'exclusive licensed product for custom and custom modular footbeds.'
"We are thrilled to have entered into this new licensing partnership with eSoles," said Tim Hawes, senior vice president of retail licensing for the PGA Tour, of the last deal. "Their technology is in a class by itself and their commitment to quality and customer service makes them a perfect fit for affiliating with the PGA Tour brand."
Glen Hinshaw, chief executive of eSoles, added: "The licensee agreement with the PGA Tour is proof that our golf footbeds are a true breakthrough in the science of sports technology. eSoles is pleased to partner with the PGA Tour in offering golfers the world's most advanced custom footbed technology."
Hawes added that the PGA Tour expects licensing revenue to increase this year.
