MMI signs four more Nascar drivers
01 December 2009 | By Adam Fraser
Four new clients, including two Nascar Sprint Cup Series drivers, have signed on with Motorsports Management International (MMI).
Nascar Sprint Cup Series drivers David Gilliland and Mike Bliss, Nascar Nationwide Series driver Kelly Bires, and Nascar Camping World Truck Series and USAC National Midget Series driver Brad Sweet will all be represented by the 'Race City' Mooresville, North Carolina-based management agency. MMI are expected to take a percentage of the drivers' earnings, likely 10 per cent.
MMI clients won 16 of 36 Nascar Sprint Cup Series races in 2009 as well as the 2009 Nascar Sprint All–Star Race. The company counts some of the biggest names in American motorsport on its roster.
