MegaFon, already a partner of the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games, will back the Paralympic Games after becoming a general partner of the competition, as well as of the Russian Paralympic Committee.

MegaFon will be a general partner of the XI Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014, general partner of the Russian Paralympic Committee until the end of 2016, and general partner of the Russian National Paralympic Team for Vancouver 2010, London 2012, Sochi 2014 and Rio de Janeiro 2016.

MegaFon, which boasts over 30 million subscribers, is already committed to paying more than US$130 million for its sponsorship of Sochi 2014 in addition to further local investment, and launched a new 3G network in Sochi earlier this year.
