Moser Baer Entertainment will distribute and sell official Manchester United DVDs throughout India after agreeing a deal with Total Sports Asia.

The three DVDs - the Official Manchester United End of Season Review 2007/08, 2008 UEFA Champions League Final and Manchester United's Road to Moscow - are available exclusively at MBE retail points throughout the country. They celebrate the club's double triumph of the English Premier League and the European Champions League. The club defended the former this season, but was beaten by Barcelona in the final of the latter.

"We're exploring the trends in a constantly changing sports and entertainment market and are hoping to structure innovative ways to bring sports to consumers," said Suvrangsu Mukherjee, managing director of TSA India. "With around 20 million fans in India, Manchester United is by far the most followed football club in the country and we’re happy to partner with Moser Baer and with their extensive distribution network, football fans from across the country would be able to enjoy these DVDs. The official DVDs give fans a chance to take home a piece of memorabilia and relive the winning moments for the rest of their lives."

The value of the deal to United will depend on sales, but experts estimate it is likely to be a six-figure sum over the next 12 months.
