LPGA Tour flying with new sponsor

The Ladies Professional Golf Association has agreed a sponsorship deal with private jet charter firm Anjet. The company has signed a three-year deal and will be the official private jet service of the LPGA. Anjet will supply jets as well as having an on-site presence at several tournaments on the tour throughout the year.
Anythony Newcombe, a co-founder and principal of Anjet, said of the deal: "The LPGA's dedication to fan satisfaction, coupled with its commitment to celebrating the accomplishments of women through sport, charities and community involvement - all similar interests of ANJET - make this alliance a suitable fit."
According to the company, Anjet, which is based in California, already serves a diverse clientele including "prominent figures in the worlds of technology, politics, entertainment, sports, and real estate."
The LPGA's executive vice president for tournament development and worldwide sales, Zaya Calderon added: "Our businesses share many of the same ideals, including an emphasis on providing our customers and fans with the best possible experience."
