London Irish have secured a new sponsorship deal with leading financial software and mobile banking company Petra Financial for the current season, which began at the weekend.
As part of the sponsorship, Petra Financial will have three exclusive match day sponsorships for London Irish's games against London Wasps, Llanelli Scarlets and Northampton Saints.
"We are delighted to have Petra Financial as a partner and sponsor for London Irish," said new London Irish chief executive Andy Martin. "The sponsorship is beneficial for both parties as Petra Financial is a company whose attributes are similar to those we embody in our team: commitment, teamwork, strength through unity, communication, and achievement. Petra Financial has the same ethos in developing software for the financial services markets, and we are delighted to welcome a new sponsor to the team who we can help generate brand awareness and, through the club facilities, provide a wonderful opportunity for hospitality, great matches, and some fun."
David Sinclair, chief executive of Petra Financial, added: "Partnering with London Irish was an easy decision for me to make. We immediately felt comfortable with the people working behind the scenes at the club and that, along with the great strides London Irish are making on the pitch was attractive to us as a company. Equally important to us was the strategic direction that the club is moving in, in terms of planning for long term success and staying close to their historic roots."
