Infront Sports & Media has announced the renewal and extension of the marketing partnership between Infront Germany and German soccer club Hansa Rostock until season 2025/26.

Infront's contract has been significantly enhanced for the new term to include all major commercial rights, including main sponsor and kit supplier category rights, stadium advertising/naming rights for the DKB Arena and first-class hospitality opportunities.

The club has emerged as one of the most successful from East Germany. In 2001, the stadium was refurbished and modified to accommodate 29,000 spectators. In July 2007 the naming rights were sold to Deutsche Kreditbank (DKB).

"This agreement is very important to us as we take over the marketing of all major commercial rights of the club," said Stephan Herth, executive director summer sports at Infront. "The enhanced contract with Hansa Rostock proofs our increasing position as full-service agency in this important market. We see excellent prospects to further exploit Hansa Rostock's rights inventory on a long-term basis."

F.C. Hansa Rostock chief executive Dirk Grabow added: "Infront is not only a loyal and successful partner to Hansa Rostock but also a leader in football at international, national and club level. There are considerable benefits in a long-term partnership with such an experienced and well-connected marketing agency, with a particularly strong base in the German-speaking markets."
