IMG secures largest deal in American college history

IMG College, a division of IMG Worldwide, has agreed the largest media rights deal in American college history with Ohio State University. The ten-year deal includes US$110 million in multimedia guarantees as well as US$18 million of services.
Ohio State is one of the most successful sporting universities in the USA. It has won 27 national championships in men’s team sports, including seven American Football titles. IMG will partner with radio station RadiOhio to manage and market all rights associated with publishing, radio game play-by-play and coaches' shows, and live and delayed television and coaches' television shows.
"The Ohio State University is one of the premier collegiate institutions in the country, and we are honored to have been selected to represent the Buckeyes," said Tom Stultz, senior vice president of IMG College. "The IMG and RadiOhio partnership will provide the University with one voice in the marketplace as we move forward to expand the successful Ohio State brand."
