IEC in Sports and Mediatec Dream Team will partner to produce the Super League, the top level of soccer in Switzerland.

The two companies will cooperate on more than 500 matches over the next three years, after sealing a contract that runs until the end of the 2011/12 season. The deal comes as IEC, owned by French media conglomerate Lagardere, seeks to expand its production activities, and was negotiated by Teleclub AG.

"We have enjoyed a very productive and positive dialogue with Teleclub throughout the tender process and the agreement only took about a month to complete. Our responsiveness and efficiency in providing a solid and competitive alternative were the keys in winning this contract."

IEC and Mediatec's production partnership include Swedish Ice Hockey and a number of tennis tournaments.
