Length of contract: 3 years | Annualised value: US$90,000 | Overall: US$270,000
Hopewell Holdings has agreed a sponsorship deal with the Chinese women's ice hockey team that will see the Hong Kong investment firm provide more than US$250,000 in funds.
The company will invest US$150,000 in foreign coaches for the team, as well as providing US$120,000 in subsidies for staff training and team bonuses.
China are eighth in the Ice Hockey women's world rankings.
That is the highest rating of any Asian team, and the country is determined to close the gap to Canada and the USA in positions one and two, and the five European teams in places three to seven.
China were one of the four best teams in the world in the 1990s, mostly thanks to goaltender Guo Hong, nicknamed 'The Great Wall Of China'.
Hopewell Holdings primary businesses are in the Guangdong province of China.
