Highland Spring ups investment in cycling

Highland Spring, which already invests in British cycling through its sponsorship of triple Olympic gold medallist Chris Hoy, will sponsor the Tour of Britain.

The tour, which takes place next month, includes eight stages over a week before finishing in London. Highland Spring's logo will feature on the Tour of Britain starting and finishing boards, the website and campaign material and the professional teams, crew and volunteer marshals will be supplied with Highland Spring throughout the tour.

"The Tour of Britain has become one of the most prestigious events in Britain's sporting calendar and we are proud to be the official beverage sponsor of the event," said Sally Stanley, marketing director of Highland Spring. "Cycling is growing exponentially as a sport and a pastime in the UK and by supporting the Tour of Britain and the Skyride series, Highland Spring is helping to encourage people of all ages and abilities to take up a sport that is sociable, fun and affordable."
