GLR wins US rights to Copa Santander Libertadores

Grupo Latino de Radio (GLR) has acquired the US Spanish-language radio rights to the Copa Libertadores, sponsored by Santander, and Copa Sudamericana, sponsored by Nissan.
Copa Santander Libertadores features 30 teams from 10 companies, and will enter its 50th year in 2010. Copa Nissan Sudamericana, meanwhile, has flourished in the seven years since it was launched. Both Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana are televised in the USA on Fox Sports en Español.
GLR Networks also has exclusive radio rights to Chivas de Guadalajara through a five-year deal with the team. It also airs coverage of six teams - Pachuca, Cruz Azul, Morelia, Santos, Tecos and Puebla.
