Contract summary
Length of contract: 3 yearsAnnualised value: US$2 million
Overall value: US$6 million
German soccer side FC Koln will play in Reebok kits for the next three years under the terms of a new deal.
The club previously played in Adidas kits, but will now move to Reebok, a subsidiary of the German company. It finished 13th in last season's Bundesliga, after securing promotion from the second tier the previous year.
This season's Bundesliga was one of the most exciting in a number of years, sparking renewed interest in what was already one of Europe's most popular leagues. "Next season we will certainly be a visual highlight in the Bundesliga," said FC Koln player Kevin McKenna.
The deal is believed to be worth US$6 million over the next three years, although that amount could decrease if Koln slips back into the second tier during that time.
