French dessert maker Senoble has formalised a two year shirt sponsorship agreement with French Ligue 1 soccer club AJ Auxerre. Auxerre currently lead the French league and had been sponsored by the dairy firm for several matches so far this season, prior to a full partnership being reached.
Details of the deal, which was confirmed at a press briefing in France, remain scarce but Senoble is a local company based in the Yonne region of France. Sponsor and team referred to several shared values in a brief press statement posted on the Auxerre official club website announcing the deal.
Senoble, a 100 per cent family owned company, operates from France but 60 per cent of its business is at the European level. The company’s turnover in 2008 was €1.1 billion, making it the third biggest manufacturer in France. The company employs around 3,700 people
