ESPN Star Sports to run World Netball Championships
ESPN Star Sports' Event Management has been appointed to organise the 2011 World Netball Championships.
The competition, which lasts for ten days, will be held in Singapore in June 2011. ESS Event Management will oversee organisational aspects of sports and competition, handle athlete services and liaison, as well as run accreditation, accommodation, transportation, spectator services, security and safety plans. In addition, the company will handle media relations, marketing and PR for the tournament.

"We will ensure that the event will be held at the highest international standards for the competitors and spectators. We look forward to delivering another marquee event with the cream of the world’s best teams coming to Singapore for this premier international event."

The deal is likely to develop into a broadcast deal, which will see ESS screen the tournament throughout the region.
