EHF renews illuminating deal

Musco Lighting has renewed its partnership with the European Hockey Federation for the next four years. The company develops lighting system and specialises in illuminating sporting events, notably including the Qatar round of the MotoGP world championship.

Martin Gotheridge, the EHF president, said of the renewal.: “We believe in hockey, and today we are delighted to announce that in spite of the difficult economic times, our loyal partner, Musco Lighting also believes in hockey.

“We have agreed that two sets of lights will be awarded to established hockey countries that support the EHF in hosting events on our behalf and two sets will be used for developing countries, to ensure that players are developing under the best possible conditions.”

Joe Crookham, president and chief executive office, added: “The Musco team is proud to be a partner with the European Hockey Federation. We’re particularly pleased to help the EHF develop sport and recreation activities for youth in developing countries.”
