CGE appoints agency to raise profile of Commonwealth campaign
The sports marketing agency Threepipe Sport has been appointed by Commonwealth Games England to launch a new brand identity and raise awareness in advance of next year's Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
The Team England branding was recently redesigned, and CGE - responsible for the selection and management of the athletes that will represent England - is keen to up interest in the team and the competition.

Threepipe Sport will also raise awareness of the Queen's Baton Relay, the forerunner to the Commonwealth Games. The relay, run along the same principle as the Olympic Torch relay, begins at Buckingham Palace when the Queen of England passes the baton to the first runner. It then crosses the Commonwealth before being handed back to the Queen or her representative at the opening ceremony of the Games.
