British Gymnastics on the Fast Track to new sponsors

Sports marketing and events agency Fast Track has been appointed by British Gymnastics to seek a lead sponsor for the sport and sponsors for a range of other opportunities.

The sport is keen to maximise its commercial profitablity in the build up to London 2012 and the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

"We are delighted to announce the appointment of Fast Track. They are a leader in the sector and we are confident that the appointment will help us to attract the right partners to support our programmes," said British Gymnastics commercial director Ian Fordham. "Our sport is increasingly successful, communicates strong and positive values and helps many young people develop vital physical and social skills.

"We offer attractive propositions to brand owners including far reaching development programmes and a strong presence at elite level through our teams and gymnasts like World Champion Beth Tweddle, Olympic medallist Louis Smith and World medallist Daniel Keatings," he added.
