Globo TV has secured the broadcasting rights to Uefa Euro 2012, ensuring extensive coverage of European soccer's top international tournament within Brazil.
23 matches and daily highlights will be broadcast free-to-air on TV Bandeirantes and Globo TV, while all 31 matches will be broadcast live on Sport TV. Matches will also be broadcast via the internet and on mobile phones.
"Uefa is delighted to enter into a partnership with Globo TV which is the leading broadcaster in Brazil," said David Taylor, chief executive of Uefa Events SA.
"Uefa, together with Globo TV, is looking forward to providing a unique viewing experience to football fans in Brazil by offering extensive coverage of the tournament."
