Southwest Airlines extends deals with Celtics and Nuggets

The Boston Celtics, the record 17-time NBA champions, and Southwest Airlines have signed a one-year extension to their partnership.
The sponsorship includes in-arena signage and promotions during all Celtics home games at the TD Garden. Celtics forward Brian Scalabrine will be a travel ambassador for the carrier's newest online feature, the Southwest Airlines Travel Guide.
Southwest Airlines operates 63 daily flights from the Boston area to nine cities. It has both operated flights from the area and partnered the Celtics for more than 13 years.
The airline has also extended its partnership with the Denver Nuggets for another year, and will continue as the franchise's official airline. "Denverites are passionate about their hometown Nuggets, and Southwest Airlines is passionate about Denver," said Southwest Airlines vice president Kevin Krone. "We're excited to see all that this partnership will bring to our valued customers and to Nuggets fans."
