Liverpool Ladies FC, the women's team of the famous English soccer club, have signed a sponsorship agreement with Total Fitness.

The club's first and reserve team will all receive free passes to Total Fitness gyms, worth a total of US$25,000 over the next year.

The team currently sits top of its league with 12 wins out of 12.

"We have improved the fitness programme that we've incorporated in the training. Both in the football and certainly from the other aspects," said the team's manager, Robbie Johnson.

"However, we only train two days out of the seven. The fitness elements that the girls partake in during the other four days, and of course the facilities that Total Fitness can bring to us, they're facilities that the individual players wouldn't be able to normally have managed."
