Bell Canada signs major broadcast deal with Vancouver 2010

Canadian phone giant Bell Canada will broadcast coverage of the winter Olympics in Vancouver next year, taking in some 4,500 hours of coverage in both English and French.

The agreement, which also covers the Paralympic Games, will see Bell carry ten networks in HD, with Bell phone customers receiving exclusive access to nine mobilised broadcast feeds.

Bell was already a premier national partner and the exclusive telecommunications partner of Vancouver 2010. The company is Canada's largest communications company.

"This partnership provides Bell customers with unprecedented access to the Olympic experience, something no other telecommunications company in Canada can offer.
