Bangladesh secures World Twenty20 backer

The Bangladesh cricket team will be sponsored by United Commercial Bank Limited (UCBL) during the ICC World Twenty20, to be held in England over the next month.
UCBL will pay an initial US$30,000, plus an additional US$5,000 per match if the team qualifies for the 'Super Eight' round or further.
12 teams will compete in the tournament, with India and Ireland making up Group A with Bangladesh. The top two teams from the three-team group will reach the Super Eights round, and play a guaranteed three further games, before possibly progressing to the semi-finals and final.
