Audi Centre Brisbane, official car sponsor of the Brisbane Broncos, has furthered its support of the rugby league team by signing on as coach sponsor for the club.

Broncos' head coach, Ivan Henjak, has extended his contract for a further two years and will receive branded training gear and uniform as part of the coach sponsorship.

Commenting on the sponsorship, and Henjak's contract extension, Broncos’ chief executive Bruno Cullen said: “On behalf of chairman Darryl Somerville and the board I congratulate Ivan on not only his new appointment, but on his first year as a head coach.

“His achievements in that first season made this an easy decision for the board and we wish him and his young squad ongoing success for the next three years.

“Like the Broncos and Ivan, I think Audi Centre Brisbane and the Brisbane Broncos are also a wonderful fit. Both brands are benchmarks in their industries and I believe this new sponsorship - that includes a close alliance with Ivan - will be the start of a long and comfortable relationship.”

Audi Centre Brisbane dealer principal Greg Willims added: “Audi Centre Brisbane is extremely proud to be the official car sponsor of the Brisbane Broncos and start a relationship which will team some of the world’s most talented rugby league players with some of the world’s finest luxury cars.

“The Brisbane Broncos are synonymous with class, exceptional performance and quality, so the club’s ethos perfectly complements the values of Audi.

“Throughout Australia, Audi is one of the most progressive and rapidly evolving brands in the premium sector, and in Brisbane especially, a relationship with the Broncos makes perfect sense.

“It also extends the Audi commitment worldwide to be involved with elite sporting teams which already include Manchester United, Real Madrid and the New York Yankees, to name just a few.”
