The mixed martial arts promotion company, the UFC, has recently announced it has reached a long-term distribution agreement with the All Sports Network (ASN).

Contributing to the sport’s growing popularity and mainstream-media coverage, the Asian 24-hour HD sports channel will officially begin broadcasting on 10th April with UFC 112: Silva vs. Maia, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi. As part of the deal ASN has secured the right to televise upcoming live events and distribute UFC programs in various locations across Asia, including the highlights compilation show ‘UFC Unleashed’ and the reality television series ‘The Ultimate Fighter’.

The chief executive of ASN, Thomas Kressner, said, “ASN is thrilled to deliver UFC, the world’s fastest-growing sports organization to audiences in Asia and with HD production quality, our viewers will not miss a single striking detail.”

Adding to his sentiment, UFC president Dana White said, “Asia is a huge market for us, it has a deep-rooted history and appreciation for the martial arts. We are thrilled to be working with ASN and to deliver the UFC to all of our fans in Asia.”
