Brit Insurance ups cricket involvement with England

Brit Insurance, sponsors of famous cricket ground The Oval, will replace Vodafone as the main backer of the England national team, in a deal that represents a ten per cent increase for the ECB.
The company's logo will appear on all England team kits for four years from January 2010.
"We are delighted to welcome Brit Insurance as the new principal sponsor of the England Cricket Teams," said David Collier, chief executive of the ECB. "With an established brand and excellent reputation within the sport we are looking forward to working closely with them over the coming four years. I would also like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Vodafone who for the past 12 years has been a fantastic supporter of cricket in this country."
The third test in the Ashes series between England and Australia begins this week at Edgbaston.
