Cheltenham's Three-Mile Novices' Hurdle Pattern will be sponsored by Albert Bartlett, a grower and packer of potatoes, until 2012.
The Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle Pattern Series will see three televised events on Channel 4 over the next six months - the first at Cheltenham, the second at Doncaster and the third at The Festival at Cheltenham in March.
The Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle was added to The Festival in 2005 and provides a valuable opportunity for staying novice hurdlers as it is run over three miles. Initially sponsored by Brit Insurance, it was backed by Albert Bartlett for the first time in 2009, coinciding with its upgrade to Grade One status.
