AEG to operate Bratislava’s Danube Arena
11 November 2009 | By Adam Fraser
AEG, the company that manages London's O2 arena and multiple venues worldwide, will operate the new 12,500-seat Danube Arena in Bratislava.
The indoor arena will host ice hockey and basketball events, as well as family shows, live music concerts and other events.
"The new arena, located in Petrzalka district, will have an excellent seating capacity and accessible location from the city centre, with road access for Slovakia, Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic," said Brian Kabatznick, vice president, business development, AEG Facilities, Europe.
"The Danube Arena will fit nicely with AEG's current arena business in six European markets," he added.
