Australian “service provider” ResCo has become a sponsor of the Newcastle Knights NRL team. Specifically the company has become a coach sponsor, meaning that its logos will appear on the clothing worn by Knights’ coach Rick Stone. It is the first coach sponsor the club has attracted for nearly four years.

Stone will assist with ResCo employee training and appear at corporate functions as well as wearing the ResCo logo for the next two years. “To be teamed up with such a progressive local company will benefit the Newcastle Knights and I believe we can learn a great deal from each other. I’m honoured and humbled that ResCo has chosen to sponsor me and I’m looking forward to building this into a great partnership.”

Knights’ chief executive officer Steve Burraston added: “We are able to offer unique opportunities by using our national profile as a business platform – it’s great that a company with ResCo’s reputation recognises this”.
