Imagen Ltd, a leading provider of video management and distribution services, today announced that Auburn University has selected the award winning Imagen media portal to manage and distribute its latest college sports highlights to local and national TV networks as well as providing rapid access to archived content through a secure, feature rich web portal.
Auburn’s dedicated video sharing platform enables logged in users to search and play back game highlights, as well interviews, press conferences and exclusive behind the scenes footage. Power users are able to create clips, make collections and download high resolution files ready for broadcast. The athletics department originally commissioned the platform and trialed Imagen during last years’ football season. After receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from media partners as well as staff, students and alumni, Auburn have decided to use Imagen to expand their video library to now include basketball and all athletic disciplines.
Imagen’s powerful audience analytics feature in particular has been incredibly useful; offering surprising insights into a content re-use that is spread across the whole of the US rather than just the neighboring states and local TV stations as was first imagined.
